Lego Ideas was an idea set that Lego introduced some time ago. It let fans submit ideas for new sets. The top ones are then put through an exhaustive process to transform them into official releases. The new designs allow fans to design incredible models that aren’t available in other sets. This led to the creation of the Voltron set. This set allows users to create all five mechanical Lions and then assemble them to form noels bricks the legendary Voltron.
Other fan-created sets include this tribute to Japan’s most well-known mountain range. This set is massive and packed with interesting details that you don’t find in any other set. It’s also an excellent way to show your love for Japan.
This tribute to Star Wars is another impressive creation. It includes all of the iconic weapons from the series and more that you wouldn’t normally see in a set. It’s one the most amazing sets we’ve seen in the past.
Professional Lego artists have been creating impressive Lego creations for quite some time now. One of them is Mariann Nathan who has been a freelance Lego designer for several years currently. Her portfolio covers everything, from replicas of landmarks to a four-foot ladybug and a life-size Pirate.
David Hughes is another notable Lego artist who recreates famous works of art in bricks. He has a work of Afternoon of a Faun on sale, but beware, it is not cheap.
